Johnson Grammar School was established in the year 1979, By Late Shri. S.R.N. Mudiraj. A man who was way ahead of his era had a foresight “to provide quality education to all”. The Founder and the Chairman Late Shri. S.R.N. Mudiraj believed in ethics and morals, he was deeply inspired by Dr.Samule Johnson and that was how the Johnson Grammar school was born.

The present director Mr.B. Suresh is a young, dynamic, dedicated individual with an ardent mission to ascent the chairman’s vision. Over the 40 years, Johnson Grammar School has accrued a reputation for quality education. It has extended its branches in three different locations of the city.In 2009 the west-mardepally branch started its operations in Co-educational from Pre-Primary to Class-VII
